We love mixing up sangria for get-togethers, and this Apple Cider Sangria is perfect for holiday festivities. A big, beautiful pitcher filled with fall fruits and spices sets the tone for the party as soon as guests walk in. If you’re feeling extra, rim the glasses with cinnamon sugar, but these drinks are just as delicious without.
We used non-alcoholic Leitz Eins Zwei Zero Riesling, which has a fresh, crisp taste. If you want to use regular wine, substitute with another dry white, like Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups apple cider
1 apple, sliced
1 pear, sliced
1 lemon, juiced
1 navel orange, 1/2 juiced and 1/2 sliced
2 cinnamon sticks, plus more for garnish
1 sprig of rosemary, plus more for garnish
6 dashes orange bitters
1 bottle of non-alcoholic white wine
sparkling water for topping
cinnamon sugar for rim (2 Tbsp sugar, 1 Tbsp cinnamon)
In a large pitcher, combine the cider, apple slices, pear slices, lemon juice, orange juice, orange slices, cinnamon sticks, rosemary, and bitters. Mix to combine. Pour in non-alcoholic white wine and stir. Refrigerate for an hour or more.
To make a drink, rim the glass with cinnamon sugar. Add ice and pour in the sangria. Top with sparkling water and garnish with a rosemary sprig and cinnamon stick.
